University Foundation Programme – UFP
Laura Lancaster - Feb 6, 2020

If you need a Visa to study in the UK, and are not from a UKVI-designated “majority English speaking” country, then you will need an Academic IELTS for UKVI certificate to demonstrate that your level of English is of a high enough standard to study on the UFP. We expect you to have achieved a level of English Language of around 5.5.

There is also the opportunity to join our 4-term Extended Foundation Programme in order to improve your English prior to embarking on the course if you score lower than this.

In order to be eligible for a Visa you must have at least 4.0 in all disciplines in the IELTS test.

Why should you choose an Engineering Foundation Course?

As the Engineering and Computing sector continues to grow globally, with technical skills becoming invaluable in a world ruled by computer systems, the demand for competent engineering and computing graduates has never been greater.
