If you need a Visa to study in the UK, and are not from a UKVI-designated “majority English speaking” country, then you will need an Academic IELTS for UKVI certificate to demonstrate that your level of English is of a high enough standard to study on the UFP. We expect you to have achieved a level of English Language of around 5.5.

There is also the opportunity to join our 4-term Extended Foundation Programme in order to improve your English prior to embarking on the course if you score lower than this.

In order to be eligible for a Visa you must have at least 4.0 in all disciplines in the IELTS test.
