University Foundation Programme – UFP
Laura Lancaster - Nov 13, 2020

Yes. All foundation students will receive a full UCAS support service. Students applying to British universities must go through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) or apply directly to some medical schools where necessary. Our team supports you through your application and will take into account your background, your career ambitions and discuss the options available to you.

With your personal choices in mind, they will advise you on which universities and courses will be most suitable. You will also be guided through the UCAS application process and will be provided with a reference based on your overall performance on the UFP.

You will be allowed to choose up to 5 universities or courses through UCAS. When you receive conditional offers you will then narrow your choices to a ‘Firm Choice’ and an ‘Insurance Choice’. When your final results are issued at the end of the course, they will be forwarded to your Firm and Insurance universities. Ideally, you will have met the requirements of the higher offer and be able to go to your Firm Choice. If you have not met their offer but have met the lower offer, you will go to your Insurance Choice. If you fail to meet both your Firm and Insurance offers, you will then be entered automatically into UCAS Clearing, and we will help you find a different university. We have never failed to place a successful UFP student at university.
